Who is Kathy?

It's like matchmaking!

I love my job, it's like matchmaking!

Buying or selling a home can be intimidating at times, but I want to make it exciting and rewarding for you. I have many years of marketing, sales, and real estate experience, but what I bring most to you are personal touches... from helping to prepare and stage your home for sale, house hunting through a snowstorm to find your dream home, to making sure the closing goes smoothly. After the move, I keep in touch; you'll always know how the market is doing in your neighborhood. I am excited to help you find your dream home and/or sell your current home or investment. Call/text 513-237-2827 or email me at kathy.santangelo@cbws.com. Check out my website at www.kathymyagent.com.

Get to know Kathy...

Kathy grew up the eldest of nine children in Erlanger and has lived in Greater Cincinnati her whole life. She attended St. Henry School for 12 years, then Northern Kentucky University, and obtained real estate licenses for both Ohio and Kentucky in 1993. She and her husband, Scott, were blessed with twins in 1996, and in 2000 she suspended her real estate career temporarily to spend more time with her children. During that time, Kathy was fortunate to work as a Preschool Teacher and 2nd grade Instructional Assistant. The twins graduated from Dixie Heights High School in 2015. Michael graduated from The University of Cincinnati in 2019 and is with the FBI in HR. Olivia graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2019, got her Masters from The American Museum of Natural History in NYC, and teaches High School Science in Midtown Manhattan. Scott is the Director of Operations at the Holocaust & Humanities Museum at Cincinnati Museum Center. His father, Dino, was the founder of the (formerly Kool) Jazz Festivals nationwide. The Santangelo Family still produces the event in Cincinnati.

Prior to her time in real estate, Kathy spent 20 years in radio and television advertising sales, promotions and marketing. The experience has proven valuable, serving her well in the real estate field. Over the years, she and Scott have been involved in many real estate endeavors, including rental investments, rehabbing their 100 year old home (right after the wedding), & later buying, building and selling their own homes, including designing and consulting on their current new custom ranch home in Erlanger - so she understands what it's like being on the other side of the closing table in most situations.

As a lifetime resident of Greater Cincinnati, Kathy has a strong commitment to the community and believes in giving back. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 6 years…sold a lot of cookies! She been a board member of the PTO and volunteered her time to Dixie Heights High School's theater program. She is also a Fairy Godmother with Cinderella's Closet, "Turning Dresses Into Dreams", a cause very near to her heart. She is also active in Blue Gives Back, Coldwell Banker's charity foundation. Since re-activating her Kentucky license in January 2013, she has met some wonderful people, made great friends, and matched them with many beautiful homes. She loves working with first time home buyers, helping clients downsize, and everything in between.
